The Count Down's On!

Nick Palmateer and Eric Greenhhill are participating in the 2009 Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership program. They're holding a food drive through June 19 to fulfill part of their 100 hour community service requirement. Please go through your pantry and see if you have a nonperishable food item you could donate to the cause.

When: Monday, June 15 from 9:15-11:45
Where: Bradt Building and Park
What: Each student should bring what they'd like to eat and drink for lunch

Tuesday - Please read and complete the Weekly Reader called Incredible Insects.

Wednesday - Please practice reading from a book you'd like to share with the class.

Thursday - Please write the following spelling words three times each.
regular: more, tore, wore, store, oar, roar, board, port, north, fort
review: dear, here
frequency: building, machine, scientist

Friday - Use the patriotic paper I've sent home to write about why you're glad you live in America. Please refer to the MANY ideas we've already brainstormed in class. Perhaps you can come up with even more ideas when you talk to your family about your assignment!
