The community building projects are incredible! Thank you so much for helping to make this an enjoyable and memorable experience for your child. Each student presented their projects in class and lead a question session afterward. It was so much fun to listen to!
We hope you'll be able to find time to see the entire "community" displayed in the hallway.

First Post of 2011
Dear Families,
What an exciting and busy beginning of the year! The construction in our classroom wasn't finished until Labor Day, so I've played catch up all month just trying to move back in and make it suitable for learning. On top of that big change, the State of New York had us hit the ground running with LOTS of changes in curriculum and requirements that will take some to implement.
This is all my way of explaining my reasons for not updating the classroom website! It is my hope you'll visit often and that it will serve as a tool for communication and connection between your home and our classroom.
I'll continue to send home weekly homework packets, but the assignments will be posted along with snack calendars, pictures, and events under tabs on the home page. Please let me know if this site is helpful to you.
I can't wait to see the community building projects tomorrow!
Sincerely,
Lanie Groff
